Ride For America is a 501c (3)) non-profit organization founded in 2010 and had our first successful run in 2011. Our first run was new but still successful. Our sponsors helped us tremendously last year in purchasing t-shirts to help with the fundraiser. We raised $1300.00. I find this outstanding for a last minute run. We raised money for our Wounded Warrior Rusty Dunagan and his family. He is our 23rd surviving triple amputee since the Vietnam War. Rusty sacrificed a lot to serve his country and funds came from all over to give to Rusty. We had very little time to raise this money but this year we are hoping to get more sponsors and with more organization get more people involved. We have also made him a member of our National Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
We would like to add you to our sponsor list for the 2012 Ride For America Run. We will have our run June 16-28, 2012. All sponsors will be added to the t-shirts and/or banners depending on the level of sponsorship packet you select. Last year we sold over 100 shirts and 60 bandannas. We are hoping to double that this year. T-shirts are a great way to get your name out there and advertise and show the community you are a supporter of our veterans and military. We travel all over the United States.
How to become a sponsor
Would you like to be a sponsor for this years run schedule June 16-28, 2012, and help others like Rusty? This years run to Sedona, AZ, approximately 870 miles one way from Oklahoma City, OK, and support the Patriot Paws program and the Ride For America.
Here's how...
Level 1 Donor: $100-$200 cash or product donation or 15-cents per mile for sponsored rider
Level 2 Donor: Greater than $200 cash or product donation or 25-cents per mile for sponsored rider.
NOTE: The size of your logo and advertisement will depend on the amount you donate!
To be a STAR donor choose both in that level.
What you get for your sponsorship:
1. Logo on t-shirts and /or bandannas depending on the level of sponsorship. This is a great advertisement for you and your company.
2. Free t-shirt and bandanna.
3. Tax deduction receipt and letter.
Last year, we sold over 100 shirts and 60 bandannas during this run, which spanned across 4 states. We are pushing to double that this year. Show your support and be a sponsor, and let our Veterans know how much you appreciate their sacrifice for our freedom, which we all hold dear, but would not be possible with them.
This year, we are also asking for a free donation of a bike trailer for the bike to be used for the ride. An advertisement banner for your company will be put on this trailer. This trailer will benefit our riders, who on occasion will need a break from the heat of the roads and sun during the hottest hours of the day and if breakdowns occur.
We are also asking for donations to include patches, decals, food, coupons, t-shirts, free meals for our riders, free room and board if you own a hotel, etc. These are very much needed and appreciated.

In 2009 and 2010, I put on 23 successful fundraisers. We have donated all funds to the veterans associations in our community. Not one cent was kept for our benefit. I’m also the President and part of the Board of Directors in the National Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. http://nationalcvma.com. Although this fundraiser is not part of the National Combat Veterans M.A. (NCVMA), I still would like to use you in the future as a sponsor for some of our runs for the NCVMA or keep you and your establishment for business for products, sponsorship and/or a stop for our runs.
